Senate to probe Kachikwu’s allegations against Baru, corruption in police

Nigeria begins legal battle to recover $1.7bn from Omokore, Aluko

A Federal high court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos has adjourned till 29 September, 2017 to decide whether or not to stay proceeding in a suit filed by the Federal Republic of Nigerian and two of its agencies against Atlantic Energy Drilling concepts Nigeria Limited (AEDC) and Atlantic Energy Brass Development Limited (AEBD)  to recover the sum of $1,762,338,184.40. Reactions trail recall of judges accused of corruption

The House of Representatives has summoned former minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, as well as her successor, Kemi Adeosun. They are to appear over alleged abuse and breach of the Procurement Act, 2007 as the House committee overseeing the act said they must appear on Tuesday, June 6. Full story
